I am just as sleepy Heidi and it is only 10 pm here. Also, I am warm, Hubby closed all the windows and doors. I might have to turn on the small AC in the bedroom.

Good maEn everyone! I've missed at least 5 pages!! Will try to catch up. Need to vent!!
Had to fire our RE agent, Jennifer. She never returned calls, always had an excuse when she did and only showed the house ONE TIME since January. I know the housing market here is bad, but there is NO excuse not to keep in touch with a client (especially when you get a 6% commission!! Long story short, found a new agent, found out she OVERPRICED the listing!! ARRRRRRGH!!!! He has until the contract expires to prove himself, so he has until July. We'll see. On top of all this, Darrell is ticked that we are not going to get what she told us the house was worth. She LIED!! HELLO!!!!

Good Evening, Dear Ones!

I am late tonight - past 11:30 - and it looks like we have had some "chatty" members (more than 2 pages today), so I may not get through all of the comments.

Starting towards the bottom of page 47:

Suzy, I'll need to get to your link after posting. Thank you for sharing it.

June, it sounds like you had a busy day at the fair! Seeing it through the eyes of a young one can be a disadvantage, as you can't see everything you had hoped to. It can also be an advantage - seeing things through the eyes of an innocent. I hope everyone enjoyed it! I'm sorry you had to deal with such self-centered and inconsiderate people on the bus!

Welcome home, Rolanda! I hope you don't need to face all of the work that often accompanies a return home and hope you enjoyed the weekend away!

Brenda, I hope your new laptop arrives soon and lives up to your expectations for it! It gets so frustrating as an older computer slows down and gives all of the indications that it will soon need to be replaced!

Tami, I'm glad your trip to the store went well! Is there any chance you could re-pot some of my plants while you're at it?

Tami, what a great TOPP for page 48! Well done! Happy Passover! I hope your Seder meal was wonderful!

Gail, we appreciate updates on Lizzy! That injury does not sound like a good one. (Well, duh, Julie, is any injury a good one?)

Sending positive vibes and thoughts to Liz and her doctors and nurses!

Heidi, you're right about the cause for lack of manners. "Children learn what they live . . ." If they aren't taught manners and aren't exposed to manners, they won't learn them. That's at least part of the problem. It's a shame! Heidi, will they do a necropsy on the young owl? What a shame, even though we know these are wild animals and we shouldn't become too attached! I know you've been enjoying that site!

Suzy, Alie calls her boy friend "boof?" Does that stand for something? (Sorry, but it reminds me of our older daughter. She's about 21 months older than her sister. Sometimes I would be so exhausted and put both girls down for a nap on our bed, and I would sit beside them. One day the older one said, "Boof Kernie." (That meant "move K__, her sister's name.) So, in our family, "boof" means "move."

Victoria, you're absolutely right. Sometimes the older generation can be just as rude and ill-mannered. My MIL died at 95.5 and in her later years became quite impatient, rude and ill-tempered, but not all of the time, thankfully! Hopefully your Mum will take the news of your upcoming visit to your sister well! I hope Reggie will soon get some relief. My Sis and BIL's dog has very sensitive skin. They have had him at the vet, at a veterinary allergist, veterinary dermatologist and spent quite a bit of money trying to help Tucker get some relief. Hopefully it won't take so much effort with Reggie.

Tami, I'm so glad that your dinner went well and your Mom complimented you on your cooking! That makes all of the work well worth it!

Rolanda, your weekend away sounds wonderful, though you must be exhausted! I must remember to check out your link on the cathedral! Thank you!

Sleep well, Heidi!

Page 49, and I see that MizT is sleepy and warm. If you're not TOO warm, that might be a good combination!

Suzanne, you and Darrell must be SO frustrated and angry with the first real estate agent! Maybe part of the reason she didn't show your house was because it was overpriced. (Had she overpriced it by a lot?) Of course, that's no excuse to not answer or return phone calls and always have an excuse. Did she arrange any advertising or an open house? I hope the new agent is the complete opposite. Even it this market, a well-priced and well-marketed house will sell. Good luck! Sending positive vibes!

Happy Birthday to Suzanne's SIL! Sending her a virtual cake . (Be sure you have a slice, Suzanne!)

Gail and Suzy, you obviously know real estate agent-speak! Here's another one: Convenient to transportation = the highway or train tracks are 20 feet from your back door.

I'm quickly turning into a pumpkin, so must soon head to bed! Please share these positive thoughts and vibes, {{{{{HUGS}}}}} and and prayers with all in need! Good Night!

Julie, I think boof was just a play on bf. What she doesn't know is that when I was growing up a boof-head was a bit of a twit. So I kind of laugh to myself that she is calling him a twit..

Rolanda, your weekend sounds fantastic, but not restful! Why waste time resting when there is fun to be had, huh?

The Easter Break Loonngg Weekend will be a much more 'relaxed' time, even with ~ catching up with friends at the Caravan Park they are staying at, and doing a 'vineyard drive around with another set of friends (they will be doing the driving)', other than that, just Him and Me and the Caravan, walks on the beach, Reading, BBQ's, Swims....
Gotta love these Mini Holidays

Mother Hen has had a 'talk' with her Chick about being in the big wide world this morning, and that she would prefer him to be employed then unemployed.
He muttered about he will talk to his boss sometime, about the possibility if no job offered in Melb, whether he could come back and continue working for them, after 'holidaying' in Melb for a 'month'.
He works in the IT section of Curtin University as a casual.

Sorry about Poss's Mum. May she RIP. I expect he will stay in Sydney till after the funeral.

Another busy day and I am sooo tired. Have to pack my case as the plane leaves at 1.30pm. At least Laura is at home tonight. She came into our bed at 3.30am this morning.(That does not happen very often). Lots of other cleaning up after she has been here! She loves bits of paper and there are bits everywhere.

Good Morning friends, I am up with my coffee after a good night's sleep. It is humid and clammy feeling today. I managed without AC last night, not so sure about today, as it will be much warmer today.

I got a surprise check in the mail! After 6 months of trying, I got my Medicare insurance changed, I no longer pay co pays. Seems it went into effect before my lest doctor visit, and the doc office refunded my co pay. Nice!

Thinking of possum and his family over the loss if his mother. Please let him know I am thinking of him.

June, what did I miss, the plane to where leaves at 1:30? I do hope you get all done with time and energy to spare.

Broni, sorry to hear of Bella's injury. Hope it improves soon.

Rolanda, I too hope son will be employed, and out on his own. It was good you had a talk with him, he knows your wishes now, will not be a shock to him when you pack his bags after graduation

Rolanda, another weekend away? This one sounds relaxing, hope you enjoy.

Hugs to all and will check back in later. Things to do today, bummer.

Possum and Broni.... My condolences. For Possum's sake, I'm so glad that he got to spend so much time with her in recent weeks. His shoulder injury was a blessing in disguise, allowing him to be off work and with his mother. ((( HUGS ))) to both of you.

Had another heifer calf born last night. I expected that one. The mama looked like she was gonna burst last night. That means we have only 4 or 5 cows left to calve. The unknown one is Sassy, who looks like she may have lost/ aborted her calf. I need to take her in to the vet for a preg check.

MizT good news about your refund and change in heathcare payment. For some reason I was thinking of you this morning while I was sorting gardenig stuff out. For your pots can you get the crystals which absorb water and keeps your potting compost dry. It would save you a little time and may help keep your plants alive in the hottest time of the year.

Brenda, I have used the water absorbing granules before, I need to find some more. they do help with the watering a LOT. I had a really good place to order online, hope I can find it again. Not sure if I used all of the last order or misplaced what was left. I possibly used the remainder making cool scarves. A cool scarf is a tube of cotton, add 2 teaspoons of the water absorbing granules and sew end closed. Wet the granules, then tie around neck. They cool much better in a really dry climate, but are some help here. Al used them when he was working out in the sun.
