Teresa, I keep hitting caps lock instead of th a on a full side computer, so I can certainly see how you could on a smaller keyboard. I attribute mine to stiff arthritic hands. But I am still typing, so what is a stray cap here and there among friends? AND my keyboard keepa on leaving out letters. I know I typed them but they are not on the screen. I think I do not hit them hard enough sometimes, same reason.

Suzanne, guess you are old enough for red hats, since they did not give you a pink one. Would love to see a photo of you in your red hat and purple dress.

A quilting buddy of mine started the first Red Hat Society in Australia. She was living in Queensland at the time. She heard some of us who made it to our quilting groups first get together talking about the red hatted ladies who were staying in our same hotel and thought it was a good idea. She looked up info on internet, then contacted the correct people and she had her group. She looked smashing in her purple dress and red hat, dressed for a garden party for sure!

Also, I have a red hat with a purple feather Christmas ornament. I bought it the year Rosie started her group, to remind me.

Suzy, yes, this liquid iron does not smell! It was not expensive either, $7 for a pint, will last a long time! Now the only thing I have to crush is the sleeping med, and that is only once a day. Besides it is easy to crush and disolves well.

I have not heard from doc office about my block. I will phone tomorrow to make sure they have started whatever process they must go through, make sure it did not get forgotten.

Happy Anniversary to Suzy and hubby, Happy birthday to Trouble's Mom. Good Morning to Rolanda, good night to Tami.

Most of my finger nails are super long at the moment so I am constantly hitting the wrong keys or not hitting them hard enough - after our anniversary I will chop them all off again...

I hope you are scheduled promptly for your block MizT.

Just home from Grocery Shop, always an exciting highlight of the week!!!
While I was at the Dr Appt this morning, I had the Flu Vaccination, got new scripts, and my blood pressure was OK for a change.
Tootle Pip, need to put the groceries away and have some lunch.

We lost our internet at work yesterday. We now have a new modem so we're all happy again.
I'm getting a new work computer - mine is too slow, apparently. I think it's really just the boss wanting to buy new gadgets. I won't say no to it.

MizT, good luck with your epidural. I hope they remembered and you get it shortly.

I'm off to the doc tomorrow for the dreaded pap smear. I got my remined letter from the government, then I got a follow up letter and then the doctors surgery rang. I guess they really want me to go. Once it's done I can forget about it for another 2 years.

Maybe it's just an Australian thing? Or maybe they think that I really need all those reminders.
They also send me reminders about having a mammogram.

I'm about to leave. No work for me tomorrow but I have to organise breakfast for church on Sunday. The bishop is coming and we are having a cooked breakkie between the 2 services. Then I can go and visit my mother just to round out the weekend. Thrills, thrills and more thrills (she says sarcastically).
I'll be baaaaack.

MizT - hope that epidural procedure eases your pain. Glad Al is home, don't think I've posted since then.
Heidi - I'll do a Rolanda here about IH and the Health Insurance - 'shaking the head, rolling the eyes' I can't believe it!!

Hello to everyone else - had stuff to say and have forgotten - another senior moment!
My sister, brother (and his wife) and I had a case conference this morning with the people at Mum's care home. All fairly straightforward, all going well, thankfully. Then we went in to see Mum for a while, then off for a coffee before my Bro and his wife flew off to Canberra for a few days.

Good Afternoon, had a haircut this afternoon too and don't feel like a shaggy dog anymore.
Heidi any chance of getting a direct credit to your account every month from IH for all expenditures? Nup, he would spend it and you would still miss out.
MizT, I love you just for who you are.
Bobbi, hope your two day birthday is wongerful
/Anniversary (well it is the birth day of their marriage Zusy and Mr. Zusy.

I am still enjoying my break. Nothing special today. Just a doctor appointment and a few errands. Tomorrow the boys go to the orthodontist. This is the easiest time to make all the appointments.;

Glad to hear that everything seems to be going well. Hope all the good stuff continues.

For the record, Suzanne is not officially old enough for the red hat society. She turns the correct age this year so they allow you to join. You know I will be having fun this October for Suzanne's big day. With friends like me, who needs enenmies.

Suzanne, plan all the revenge that you want but remember, you will always be older.

MizT, hope you get the epidural soon so that you feel much better. A very difficult time for you and Al. Prayers for you both.
Heidi, with all your health problems how could IH 'forget' to pay that bill. Do you have a combined 'family' insurance like we do here. Cheaper that way.
nice to see that Theresa is able to keep in contact and that things are improving for your daughter.

Computer always slow at this time of night as US awakes.
Had a good game of bowls today and a big win.
Wish we could get some nice rain as the garden is very dry. Cannot complain about the nice days otherwise. Hubby at a baseball game but should be home soon. I had a big Nana nap this afternoon so hope I can sleep tonight!

I now have to limit watching the eagle cam after Ken got a warning that we had used half our download allowance. That was after I had not turned it off properly and let it run for about 6 hours!

Well done on the bowls win June. I haven't heard much about the eagle cam lately. Thank goodness they warned Ken that half his allowance had been used, it would have been a shock to have either a big bill at the end of the month or to find you were put onto a slow dial up till the next month is due.
I'm not sure whether we have an allowance here. We never seem to pay anymore per month or get put on a slow connection. We normally have at up 5 laptops and 4 phones using the wi fi at any given time.

Good Maen everyone!
MizT: The only purple I have (so far) are 2 shirts & a purse. Going to the mall to look for some more stuff.
The red hat I wore yesterday came from Marilou (she is the Queen of our chapter & lives down the street). I will post a photo. Marilou took photos of everyone yesterday.
Happy Anniversary to Suzy & Hubby.
to Bobbi. I will call you later today.
Coffee's on, help yourselves!
Have a great day, TTFN Everyone!

I cannot get health insurance anywhere else, or as a combined family policy because of my severe preexisting condition. IH never has any real health problems,( tho' he's a hypochondriac and thinks that when one of his siblings has something, that means he has it too, but undiagnosed) and has ridiculously low health insurance. Mine is 5x what his is.

Just popping in with my very spotty internet availability. Happy Birthday to Bobbi! Happy Anniversary to Mr. and Mrs. Suzy. I obviously have LOADS of pages to read, as I see MizT mentioning an epidural. No time to read, as I am never sure when I'll lose the connection, so will quickly wish all of the best to everyone! Sending {{{{{HUGS}}}}}, prayers, positive thoughts, and to everyone and your family and friends who can use them! HAPPY BIRTHDAY wishes to all I've missed! Happy Anniversary wishes to anyone else I've missed. Hopefully by next week things will have returned to normal! Miss you all!

Hi Julie! Looking forward to next week when we might see you again..

Congratulations on your win June. I pop into the eagle cam for about a minute at a time, though I did leave it on by mistake the other day - I have no idea how long for..

I've had a busy day, Tami, but at least it was relatively uneventful, since IH is out of town. Robert and I got the load of iron... nearly a ton... taken to the scrapyard. The trailer is now loaded with tin to take there tomorrow. We'll save the aluminum until next week. A couple of Guys that IH hired (cheap) stole Robert's supply of copper. I let Robert store his metal in a bay of the barn on my hay field, and IH had those losers take some stuff to the barn... without my permission.
